I will start this by saying that I trust and believe in my spiritual teacher and father 100%. He has shown himself over and over to be a pure and illuminated being without ego. On the spiritual journey it seems important to fully place yourself in the hands and the heart of a holy being that has come in human form to help, bless, and defend us. My spiritual Master, Dr. and Master Zhi Gang Sha is that being for me. I have seen with my own eyes outright miracles of healing and transformation, and have experienced this for myself and my family. The proof of the pudding for humans is direct, measurable experience.
It’s a pretty unique set of circumstances that can bring a person to this point. This too is a miracle! To go through hundreds, even thousands of lives to culminate everything… all those lives, all those experiences, all that karma into one pivotal moment…here at the edge. The edge of the world as we know it, with chaos and disaster bearing down like a thunderstorm. This is when you want someone you trust absolutely as your leader.
I remember some years ago there was a rash of scandals regarding televangelists and self-made gurus, even some highly regarded and famous spiritual leaders. I wish I could remember the name of the person that spoke a sentence at that time that stuck with me, but it has gotten away. He said, “Your leaders, your teachers, your spiritual guides will disappoint and betray you. They will lie to you, abandon you and disappear. It’s their job to do that, and you should thank them. This is the lesson: Trust your inner light.”
“Betrayal is about learning not to idealize external sources.”
Linda Talley
Humans are affected by countless different influences. Our parents, our children. The weather. Our karma. The whims and beliefs of other humans. Our health, our finances, our inner constant, negative dialog. Karma is the big one, we come in with a boatload of it and it affects everything we do, say, and think. There have been a handful of pure light beings who have come to earth to try to shift and elevate the consciousness of humanity. I imagine it’s been a pretty uphill slog, humans are an intransigent lot. Everyone else has the potential to morph into something unexpected. I have placed my trust in friends, teachers, guides, authors even, to have them, (or my awareness of them) shift away from me. A seemingly important being in your life can become faint and one dimensional, not looking back at you. I am thinking of liquefaction, in which seemingly solid earth becomes watery sand and mud during an earthquake. It’s not their fault, it’s not your fault, objects and people shift, change, disappear. And sometimes they stay! Lifelong friends, spouses, dogs of course, can be a shining light in your life for all your life.
It’s possible that everything and everyone that you know could vanish from your life experience. Who would you be if suddenly you didn’t have a husband? A wife? A family? A house? A car? Money? Look at poor ol’ Job. He could tell you about that one, except the car of course. Camels I think it was. Where does your heart go when the outside changes, leaves you, betrays you?
It is the heart that is the key to that door. Inward through the heart to the true self, the Christ self, the Buddha self, the Light, the Silence. That which was always real, and will always be real. That which has no words, no face, no opinion, but is the living palpable living presence of the Infinite Consciousness, the Source itself. We are living in a dream state like the Holodeck on Star Trek. Programming goes in, experience follows. It feels real until the programming ceases, and we wake up. We are dreaming separateness, unable to process that the great, still, now moment is all there is. Vibrating with sentient light and color, the companionship of the eternal friend.
“Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life.”
― Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now
Trust your inner light. Go in, and find it. Stop talking, stop thinking. Chant something wonderful for hours on end. Wake up. It’s essential that we wake up now. Our personal attachments, distinctions, preferences, even our heartfelt trust and belief in the teachings of other humans will be our undoing. Events on the planet are happening fast, and it’s going to be bumpy. Religion has nothing to do with it, unless it’s hindering you. Feel the Divine presence that lives within you, embody that, trust that, stay there. Humans tend to congregate. Find like-minded others who might help you with meditation, insights, inspiration.
This is not an easy journey, this passage to the illuminated heart. We need to pedal fast if we want to pass through the storm and into the great new age of light. It requires a decision to relinquish our belief that what we are dreaming is real, and find spiritual reality. You can do it. Wake up now. Wake up.
